erms and Conditions – Sérouxe Royale

Article 1 - Definitions

1. Entrepreneur: Sérouxe Royale, located in Diemen, the Netherlands.

2. Consumer: The natural person who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business.

3. Agreement: The distance contract between Sérouxe Royale and the consumer for the purchase of products (champagne and related items).

Article 3 - Applicability

1. These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by Sérouxe Royale and to every distance contract concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer.

2. Before the agreement is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the consumer.

Article 4 - The Offer and Age Verification (Nix18)

1. Age Limit: Sérouxe Royale does not sell alcoholic products to persons under the age of 18. By placing an order, the consumer declares to be at least 18 years of age.

2. Verification at Purchase: The consumer is required to verify their age during the checkout process.

3. Verification at Delivery: Upon delivery by PostNL, an 18+ age check will be performed. The courier will request a valid form of identification. If the age requirement is not met, or if no one is present to receive the package, the order cannot be delivered and will be returned to Sérouxe Royale. Any shipping costs incurred in this case will be charged to the consumer.

4. Product Information: If a specific vintage (millésime) of a champagne is no longer available, Sérouxe Royale reserves the right to contact the consumer for an alternative or to cancel the order.

Article 5 - Price and Shipping

1. All prices mentioned are inclusive of VAT.

2. Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will be charged for orders up to €200. Orders above €200 will be shipped free of charge within the Netherlands.

3. Delivery Time: Sérouxe Royale aims for a delivery time of 2 to 3 working days. This period is indicative and not a strict deadline.

Revised Article 6 - Returns & Refunds

No Returns or Refunds All sales are final. Due to the delicate nature of our products (perishable goods/beverages), we do not accept returns or offer refunds once a product has been delivered. Please make sure to review your order carefully before completing the purchase.

Damaged or Incorrect Items If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact.serouxeroyale@gmail.com. You must include a photo of the damaged item and the packaging. We will review your case and, if approved, provide a replacement.

Article 7 - Payment

1. Unless otherwise stipulated, the amounts owed must be paid immediately upon placing the order.

2. Sérouxe Royale offers the following payment methods: iDEAL, Credit Card, and Apple Pay.

Article 8 - Delivery and Execution

1. The place of delivery is the address that the consumer has made known to Sérouxe Royale.

2. The risk of damage and/or loss of products rests with Sérouxe Royale until the moment of delivery to the consumer or a representative designated in advance (18+ ID check mandatory).

Article 9 - Complaints Procedure and Disputes

1. Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted fully and clearly described via contact.serouxeroyale@gmail.com within a reasonable time after the consumer has discovered the defects.

2. Agreements between the entrepreneur and the consumer to which these general terms and conditions apply are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
